The Correspondence of John C. Cahalan, Jr.: 

After the death of my grandfather, Joseph Cahalan MD, I found a box containing his father's papers.  Some things--such as a collection of information on his 50th college reunion--are of little interest, but are retained on file.  Here are his personal and business letters, from 1905 to 1956.  Many of them shed light on the family's political and literary history,  They are listed chronologically, overall, with each separate page labelled with a letter, except when grouping them together by correspondent or subject matter makes better sense,
